Toxic Treats – Halloween Card

I have another Halloween card for you…keeping it very clean and simple.

Playing with the Festive Friday (#120) challenge and combining it with the CAS on Friday (#242) colors and the Use Your Stuff (#469) tools challenges

Here is the result: 

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (2¾” x 3¼”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with one of the labels dies from the retired Labels Collection Framelits Dies set.
  • The Label Accent Mat was stamped with the one of the texture images from the retired Natural Textures stamp set to tone down the contrast of white against black.
• Focal Panel: (2⅛” x 2⅝”) Basic White cardstock.
  • A piece of Basic White cardstock was colored with Mango Melody ink using a Blending Brush.
  • The Flying Witch image from the retired Toxic Treats stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
  • The image was then die-cut with another of the label dies from the same die set.

The die-cuts were layered and added to the card base completing the card.
