Leaf Fall – Nature’s Harvest Thank You

Love weekends and the opportunity to spend time in the Studio.  Were you able to be creative today?

A few more challenges.  Sketch: Tuesday Morning (#677), Theme: Make My Monday (#184), Tools and Theme: Can You Handle the Pressure (#16) and Color: Color Dare (#515).

Here is the result: 

NATURE’S HARVEST – LEAL LABELS – LEAF FALL 3D EF – TIMBER 3D EF – TMS677 – MMM184 – CYHTP16 – CD515

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Soft Suede cardstock (for Mocha).
  • Front Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Crumb Cake cardstock (for Toffee) dry embossed with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Accent Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Peach Parfait retired cardstock (for Nectarine).
  • Shapes – Maple Leaves: Kraft colored Leaf Labels from the Leaf Labels & Autumn Gems Combo pack.
    • The two leaves were dry-embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
    • Using a Sponge Dauber, the Leaf edges were colored with Soft Suede ink.
    • Using another Sponge Dauber, retired Peach Parfait ink was sponged into the center of the Leaves.
  • Sentiment Flag: Peach Parfait cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Thank You, from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set was stamped with Soft Suede ink.
    • The Label was trimmed and flagged with Paper Snips. (2⅜” x ⅝”).

All of the elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels were randomly added for a bit of bling.

Leaves are falling everywhere and the wind is having fun blowing them about.  So glad the cooler weather has arrived.  So happy to open my windows!
