Some Sundays just get off to a slow start…
A few clean and simple (CAS) style challenges came together quickly.
Sympathy cards are my least favorite to make…yet I love a black and white color scheme which looks particularly stunning with a singularly beautiful image.
Here is the result:
- Card: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
- The Bird image from the lovely retired Simply Sketched stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig Positioning Tool, the sentiment, Sending Caring Thoughts, from the Bamboo Beauty stamp set was tucked in under the Grasses also using memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Using the Big Shot Embossing Mats with the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and the Ticket Corner Rectangle die from the Painted Labels Dies set, a frame was embossed around the stamped image and sentiment for a little subtle texture.
Quick, easy and elegant. Both spare and thoughtful.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda.
