Under The Sea – Let’s Get Together

Welcome back!  How can it already be August? New month, new ideas…

Another clean and simple card playing with the Theme from Just Add Ink (#614), the Colors suggested by Color Throwdown (#703) and the Freshly Made (#546) Sketch.

Here is the result:

SEA LIFE DIES – LAYERING CIRCLE DIES – CUP OF TEA – FMS546 – JAI612 – CTD703

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Let’s Get Together Soon, from the Cup of Tea stamp set was stamped in the upper right corner with retired Marina Mist ink.
  • Decoration: (4¼” x 7”) Shimmery White cardstock.
    • Using Blending Brushes, the cardstock was colored with Crumb Cake, retired Seaside Spray and retired Marina Mist inks.
      • Circles: die-cut with the (1⅞”) and (2⅜”) sized dies from the Layering Circles Dies set.
      • Sea Life: die-cut with the Coral Reef and Fish dies from the retired Sea Life Dies set.

The card was assembled to match the sketch and the Fish were adhered with Dimensionals.
