I have been adopted! As a Crazy Cousin for the month of August with the Double Trouble Team.

The current challenge (#117) is S’more. S’more of everything! LOL! Totally not my usual style…Lots of everything and a fancy fold to boot…let’s have some fun!

How do you like my avatar? I thought it was a fun image of me.
I picked a Panel Z-Fold Pattern.
Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Front
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Naturals White cardstock (retired)
- From my scrap bin, a piece of Naturals White cardstock that had been sprayed with Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint and Isopropyl Alcohol mixed in a Stampin’ Spritzer.
- Frame: (3⅝” x 5”) Brushed Gold cardstock die cut with the Rectangle Frame die from the Fabulous Frames Dies set.
- Focal Image: Clipped Floral image from one of the patterned pieces of paper from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper pack.
- The image was painted/colored with Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow ink drops from the Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills Bottles mixed with water and the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. (So pretty but hard to see in the photographs)
- Once dry, the Floral image was fussy cut with Paper Snips.
- A small piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock was added in behind the open cuts of the Flowers.
- Embellishments: (1) Retired Gold Flecked Fine Art Ribbon was looped and added to the card front.
- Embellishments: (2) Brushed Brass Butterflies were also added to the card front.
- A length (18”) of retired (¼”) Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon was set in behind the Frame and over the Background Panel.
- Completing the card front, the fussy cut Floral image was popped up with Dimensionals.

- Card Inside
- Left Side: (4” x 5¼”) Early Espresso/Crumb Cake Floral patterned piece of paper also from the Abigail Designer Series Paper pack.
- Right Side: (4” x 5¼”) Early Espresso/Sahara Sand Dotted Cross Hatch patterned paper from the He’s The Man Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Decorative Photo Corners: Brushed Gold cardstock scrap die-cut with the Filigree Photo Corner dies also from the Fabulous Frames Dies set.
- Fancy Fold Element
- Diagonal cut Crumb Cake cardstock (4½” x 8 ½” cut to 3½” on right side and scored at 2⅛”, 4¼” and 6⅜”).
- Far Left Panel: (just shy of 2⅛ x 4½”) the same Early Espresso/Crumb Cake Floral patterned piece of paper from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper pack.
- Decoration: Light tinted Gold Vellum paper from my stash stamped with two of the Butterflies from the Butterflies Brilliance stamp set and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- The Butterflies were fussy cut with Paper Snips.
- Center Left Panel: (just shy of 2⅛” x 4¼”) another piece of the Naturals White Gold sprayed cardstock.
- A mixture of Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Classic Ink Refill drops, water and Wink of Stella Glitter Brush was washed on to the background.
- Decoration: The Wildrose Floral image from the Cottage Rose stamp set was stamped with Stazon Black ink onto a piece of Naturals White card stock that was also colored/painted with the Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow Wink of Stella Glitter mix.
- The image was die cut with the coordinating die from the Cottage Flowers Dies set but subsequently fussy cut and cut apart to fit the width of the panel.
- Center Right Panel: (just shy of 2⅛” x 4”) another piece of the Naturals White Gold sprayed cardstock.
- The smaller Floral image from the Cottage Rose stamp set was stamped three times with 2nd Generation (stamped off once) Flirty Flamingo ink.
- The sentiment, You Are Positively the Greatest, also from the Cottage Rose stamp set was stamped with Soft Suede ink.
- Far Right Panel: (just shy of 2⅛” x 3¾’) Sahara Sand/Very Vanilla Knit patterned piece of paper also from the He’s The Man Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Decoration: Another Clipped Floral corner edge image from the same patterned piece of paper from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper pack was painted/colored with Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Flirty Flamingo glittered paint.
- A few more Brushed Brass Butterflies were added.
- Far Left Panel: (just shy of 2⅛ x 4½”) the same Early Espresso/Crumb Cake Floral patterned piece of paper from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper pack.
- The completed panel was adhered to the inside of the card with Tear and Tape Adhesive and Tombo Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue on the Far Left and Far Right Panels.

- Card Back:
- Another (2” x 2”) Early Espresso/Crumb Cake Floral piece of patterned paper from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper pack was added for interest under the (¼”) Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.
- A (2” x 1”) piece of Crumb Cake cardstock scrap was stamped with the Made with Love, sentiment from the Limited Edition stamp set using Soft Suede ink.
- The sentiment label was affixed over the ribbon with Tear and Tape Adhesive to secure it in place.
Wow! Lots of layers and lots of stuff. A very pretty card. This will have to go to someone very special!

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda.

Yolanda, the front of your card is truly eye catching. My friend and I did this fold back in 2021 and I had a really difficult time with it. I’ll have to watch Lisa’s video and see if it’s easier this time. TFS. Congrats on being picked as a cousin…now we are related by DT! As Guest Designer for Creative Creases, thank you for entering your beautiful creation in Debbie’s 37th challenge.

Jolanda, it’s such pleasure to have you on board as our Crazy Cousin for August!! I love all your cards, but you’ve really outdone yourself with this gorgeous piece of art!!! I like your technique of putting the green piece behind the three roses to really “ground” them to the card front! Thank you so much for joining our “family” at Double Trouble!!! -Donna
