Happiness Abounds – You Are Wonderful

Can you stand another card?  Playing in the Studio with a few more challenges.

Sketch: Paper Craft Crew (#476), Style and Theme: The Flower Challenge (#70), Style and Element: Addicted to CAS (#223) and Color: TGIF (#375).

Here is the result: 

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Mossy Meadow cardstock used as a neutral.
• Square Panel: (3½” x 3½”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
  • The Grid pattern was created by using one of the dies from the Artisan Additions Dies set.
• Sentiment Label: (2½” x 1”) Flirty Flamingo cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You are wonderful in every way, from the Happiness Abounds stamp set was stamped with Versamark and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
• Focal Image – Flowers: Blushing Bride and Soft Sea Foam cardstock scraps.
  • The Wildrose and the Leaves images, also from the Happiness Abounds stamp set were stamped twice with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
  • Color was added to the Wildrose images with the Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
  • Color was also added to the Leaves with the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend.
  • The four images were fussy cut with Paper Snips.

All of the elements were arranged to match the sketch.  One of the Flowers was popped up with Dimensionals.

A very pretty clean and simple floral card.  The grid pattern created by using the cut-out die works as a lattice to support the sweet pink flowers.
