Flowing Flowers – Thank You

Deadlines…

Playing in the Studio with the Tuesday Morning Sketch (#638) Challenge.

I chose the colors from the Color Throw Down (#674) Challenge and the Theme from The Flower Challenge (#64).

Here is the result:

FLOWING FLOWERS – SILVER FOIL – SHIMMER RIBBON – TMS638 – CTD674 – TFC64

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
  • Background Panel (4” x 5¼”) Brushed Silver Foil cardstock.  The sentiment, Thank You, from the Flowing Flowers stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
  • Three Strips: (½” x 5½”) Retired Black Shimmer Ribbon wrapped and taped around the Background Panel.
  • Shape – Focal Image: (2¾” x 2¾”) Basic White cardstock scrap.  The Floral image, also from the Flowing Flowers stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut with Paper Snips.

A quick and easy card…perfect for thanking that special someone for the Christmas gift you received early in the New Year.  The Monochromatic Flower suits the Black and Silver color scheme. All-in-all a very pretty elegant card.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!
