Celebrate with Flowers – Happy Birthday

Keeping it simple and having a play with colors and coloring.

Sketch:  Tuesday Morning (#611) and Color Throw Down (#648)

Here is the result:

  • Floral Panel: (2⅞” x 4¾”) True Love Designer Series Paper colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends: Light Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam and also Dark Highland Heather.
  • Background Panel: (3⅞” x 4¾”) Basic Black cardstock. The vertical sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Celebrate with Flowers stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.

And that is it!  I chose to use a Melon Mambo card base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) to complete the card.

Such a pretty and colorful card!

I must say, the True Love Designer Series Paper is one of my all-time favorite black and white paper offerings from Stampin’ Up!  I will truly miss it when it retires at the end of June 2021.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
