Playing with the sketch from the TGIF Challenge (#320) today and another row from the Tic Tac Toe Challenge (#117).
A bouquet of pretty yellow flowers in a glass jar. I love how friendly yellow flowers are…
Here is what I created:

Steps:
- Jars: Vellum cardstock. The two sized Jars, from the Jar of Flowers stamp set were stamped on to Vellum with Stazon Jet Black ink. The larger Jar was punched out with the coordinating Jar Punch and a little bit of color was added to the reverse side using the light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend. The smaller Jars were fussy cut with Paper Snips. A plain Basic White cardstock Jar was also punched out. The Flower Stems were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the light and dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. The Vellum Jar was adhered over the Basic White Jar so that the Flower Stems would show through. The small Vellum Jars were left as is.
- Flowers: Basic White cardstock. The Flower images from the Jar of Flowers stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends: So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody with accents of Soft Succulent, Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue. Once colored, the Flowers were fussy cut with Paper Snips.
- Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Yellow/White floral pattern paper from the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper pack.
- Sentiment Label: (2½” x ⅜”) Vellum. The sentiment, you’ve been on my mind, from the Simply Succulents stamp set was stamped with Stazon Jet Black ink.
All of the elements were arranged to match the sketch on a Basic White card base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”). The side Bouquet Jars were kept level. The “tilt” did not quite look right or suit the overall arrangement. The Glue Dots I used to add the Sentiment Label are hidden behind the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots. The little touch of yellow gold finishes the card of nicely.
A happy card…

Jolanda, both cards you shared with us at the Tic Tac Toe challenge this week are beautiful but I think this one is my favorite. Flowers in jars are all about Summer IMHO and I absolutely love your sweet bouquets! Thanks for the extra post this week!
