Natural Textures – Hello Friend

A really quick and easy card when you just have to get it out in the post.  Truly a #SimpleStamping card!

I combined the challenges I set out for you to keep you stamping and engaged.  What did you make?

Here is the result:

The image I selected to illustrate the Masculine theme was a little gritty and I decided to go with textures and selected the new Natural Textures stamp set and paired it with the new Create with Friends stamp set along with the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

NATURAL TEXTURES – CREATE WITH FRIENDS – WEEKEND THEME CHALLENGE – SUNDAY SKETCH SS004 CHALENGE

Steps:

  • Top Panel: (2½” x 3¾”) Stone Tile patterned paper.  The sentiments, HELLO and Friend, from the Create with Friends stamp set was stamped in Early Espresso ink directly on to the panel.
  • Cross Strip: (4¼” x 1¾”) Gray Granite cardstock.  The Nubby Fabric image from the Natural Textures stamp set was stamped in Gray Granite ink.
  • Background Panel: (3½” x 4¾”) Gray Slate patterned paper.

These three pieces were adhered to an Early Espresso card base (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”).  A few retired (but still on-hand) Cinnamon Cider In-Color Enamel Dots were added for a little interest.

This is such a great layout.  Change the colors, the papers, the stamped images and the possibilities are endless.  Especially when you need a quick and simple card.  This is a keeper!

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!
