You’re So Cool – Groovy Black and White

Who doesn’t like a graphic black and white design with a pop of color? A few simple elements and you are swinging!

Playing with the Tuesday Morning Sketch (#608) and the Colour INKspiration (CI-100) Challenges.

Here is the result:

SWEET ICE CREAM – PATTERN PART DSP – TUESDAY MORNING SKETCH #608 – COLOUR INKspiration #100

Steps:

  • Rings: Magenta Madness (1⅞”), Bermuda Bay (2⅜”) and Gorgeous Grape (1⅜”).  The Rings were created by using the Stitched Shapes Dies and the corresponding Layering Circle Dies. Magenta Madness (1⅜”) and Bermuda Bay (1⅞”).
  • The Sentiment Circle: (1⅛”) Basic White.  The sentiment, You’re So Cool, from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The Circle was then die-cut with the Layering Circle Die
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. The left-side: B/W Cross Hatch pattern and the right-side: B/W Dotted pattern.

Keeping it simple, all the elements were adhered to a Magenta Madness card base (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) to match the sketch.

A nice little graphic card design that is so cool! And even more so with the pops of color.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
