Friends – How we miss them. So glad many have had their Covid-19 Vaccinations and we will be able to get together again soon.
Loyal Leaves is a favorite stamp set. It was always special when I found a leaf skeleton. However, today I just used the sentiment Missing You. I love the font.
The layout for this card was inspired by the current Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge – JAI548 and the color and theme was inspired by the current Tic Tac Toe #107 Challenge.
And this is the result:
For the three Tic, Tac, Toe elements: Feminine, I chose the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper. It is so pretty and soft and it is also Purple. For the Scallop, I chose to use a scalloped circle from the Layering Circle Dies.
To match the Just Add Ink sketch, the smaller Hydrangea vignette, was die-cut with the Square Layering Die (1⅝”) from one of the patterned Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper sheets and then the corners were clipped with the retired Corner Rounder Punch.
The Scalloped Circle (2¼”) was die-cut from a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. The cross strip (½” x 3½”) was cut from Highland Heather cardstock. The back panel (4” x 5¼”) was also cut from a patterned sheet of the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment, Missing You, from the Loyal Leaves stamp set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink on to a scrap of Basic White cardstock and die-cut with the longer label die from the Potted Succulents Dies set.
All the elements were arranged on a Gorgeous Grape card base creating a pretty feminine purple centric card.
