Time again to catch up with the weekly Case-ing Tuesday Challenge #298. This week the Sample and Sketch is from page 48 of the Mini Spring Catalog. I decided to mix it up with the Paper Players #535 Challenge – Springtime Flowers.
I hadn’t yet had a chance to play with my March 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit which included the pretty Floral stamp set and the lovely Field of Flowers envelope liners. How perfect for these two challenges!
And this is the result:

I matched the Calypso Coral card base (8½” x 5½” scored @ 4¼”) and the Pretty Peacock (3¾” x 2¼’) matted Bumble Bee cardstock panel (3½” x 2”) to the colors in the patterned paper back panel (5¼” x 4”) made from one of the Paper Pumpkin envelope liners.
The sentiment, Happy Birthday and the Floral Shadows were stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.
For the focal point, I chose to color the Floral stamp with various coordinating Stampin’ Write Markers: Bumble Bee, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray, Pretty Peacock and Cinnamon Cider. I opted to use an oval shape over the circle shape and die-cut the image with the (1⅜” x 2¾”) Stitched Shapes Dies oval.
All the elements were then arranged in my interpretation of the sketch. A pretty Springtime Floral card.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
