You’re The Best – Boho Indigo Study in Texture

Created a card for the Freshly Made Sketches Team – FMS476.  A two color:  Blue and White creation using a particular favorite, the Boho Indigo Product Medley All-Inclusive Kit.

Here is what I created:

Working bottom to top.

• Card Base (8½” x 5½” scored at 4 ¼”) Basic White.
• Accent Panel (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Misty Moonlight.  From this panel but hidden, the Leaves, Vase and Banner were die-cut. The sentiment, You’re The Best from the Parcels and Petals stamp set was stamped in Versamark and heat-set embossed with White Embossing Powder.  The dies used were: Boho Indigo Dies and the Tasteful Labels Dies.
• Panel: (4” x 5¼”) (1) Basic White.  Using three different strip dies, I cut the diagonal patterns in the upper left. Square Step – Many Medallions Dies, Oval Lace – Nature’s Thoughts Dies and Triangles – Stitched Triangle Dies. (2) Misty Moonlight.  All of the Basic White pieces were pieced back together and adhered to the Misty Moonlight panel.  The complete panel was then dry-embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
• Focal Point (Die-cut Vase) Another Vase was die-cut from a piece of patterned paper in the Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper collection.  The accent vase was then trimmed to fit the solid blue vase as a belly band.  Then the Vase was dry-embossed with the Dainty Diamond 3D Embossing Folder.
• All the elements were then adhered to complete the card.  I chose to add a piece of the Boho Indigo Gold Pleated Ribbon for a little interest.

I love playing with textures and this card is full of them.  Yet it is still a very clean card.  Blue and White is always a fresh combination.  For blue and white, look no further than the Boho Indigo Product Medley.  One stop has it all!
