I needed a card for a friend and I chose to work with the colors suggested by the Color Throw Down Team – CTD632

I did not mean to make a card so literal to the inspiration photo. I wrote the colors down in my TO DO note book a week ago. Spring and Spring Flowers must be on my mind. Here is the result:

To recreate this card:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White.
- Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White. Stitched edging detail created with the Stitched With Whimsey Dies and the sentiment is from the Garden Wishes stamp set stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink before dry embossing with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
- Die-Cut Floral elements: The flowers and leaves were stamped using the Brushed Blooms stamp set onto scraps of colored cardstock. Calypso Coral ink onto Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody onto So Saffron, and Just Jade onto Just Jade. The stamped images were then die-cut with the coordinating Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies.
A pretty little card.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
