To put up with me and all my posts. I get so energized by working through various challenges. Working in the Studio is my happy place! So this is what I worked on this afternoon.
I liked the color combination from the CAS Color and Sketches Challenge #407 this week. Misty Moonlight, Flirty Flamingo and Gray Granite. Misty Moonlight is one of my favorite colors! I combined these colors with the Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge – PCC414.
Here is the result:

Card Elements:
- Card Base: (4¼” x 5½”) Misty Moonlight
- Panel One: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla. The panel was stamped with the little Fireflies / Butterflies from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp set in Gray Granite ink. The panel was dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
- Mat One: (3” x 1½”) Gray Granite
- Top Mat: (3” x 1½”) Boho Indigo Product Medley Designer Series Paper.
- Circle Mat: (1¾”) Flirty Flamingo. Used the 1 ¾” Circle Punch (retired)
- Circle: (1⅞”) Very Vanilla. Die-cut with the Layering Circle Dies and also dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
- Label / Sentiment Strip: (1 ⅞” x ⅜”) Gray Granite. The sentiment, You’re So Nice, from the Many Mates stamp set was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.
- Focal Image: Fussy Cut Butterfly. Sale-a-bration A Touch of Ink stamp set. The Butterfly outline stamp was stamped in Gray Granite ink. Using Two-Step Stamping, the Butterfly wing stamp was inked in Flirty Flamingo, stamped off once and kissed with Misty Moonlight ink which was applied with a Sponge Dauber.
Once done, all the elements were assembled as per the sketch layout.
A sweet little thank you card. Don’t you agree?
Cheers, Jolanda!
