So many beautiful new stamp sets in the 2021 Spring Mini Catalog. Difficult to choose which one to use at any given time.
This week’s sketch over at The Paper Craft Crew – PCC413 was the inspiration for my card using the Treasured Medallion stamp set.

Here is what I created:

The beauty of Pretty Peacock and Blackberry Bliss is brought together by the golden elements.
I stamped the Medallion in Versamark onto a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I then fussy cut the Medallion. I added a square Gold Foil mat (2½” x 2½”) behind it.
I cut a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock and a piece of one of the three patterns of the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate sheets (2¼” x 3½”). I overlaid the acetate onto the cardstock.
For the strip element, I chose to use a bit of Gold Shimmer Ribbon that I had on hand.
To play up the exotic opulence of the golden medallion, I picked Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the mat panel and the card base. Texture was added to the mat panel with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
A jeweled sparkle, created by adding a few Champagne Rhinestones adds to the richness.
No sentiment for this card. Everything that need be said can be left to the inside.
This is a very nice layout and I like how the card turned out. I hope you do too!
