Laced Hearts – Love Post

The Paper Players Team got me to make a Valentine’s Card with their current challenge– PP527.

This is what I came up with…

FESTIVE POST – VALENTINE LOVE CARD – PAPER PLAYERS TEAM #527

I pulled out all of the current pink/red toned cardstock from Stampin’ Up!  For my concept, I needed three to five colors.  Many of the pinks were too peachy compared to Magenta Madness and Melon Mambo which I wanted to use.  A dive in to my scrap bin and I had a color I felt would suit the intensity of the others.   Turns out, after some research, that the color was Passion Pink.

Shall we dance a madly passionate mambo?  Works for me!

The colored Strips and the Basic White back panel have been dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  The smaller matching Hearts were punched out with the retired Sweet Heart Punch and dry embossed with the Lace 3D Embossing Folder.

For the sentiment, I chose the word Love, from the Festive Post stamp set that was available in the 2020 Holiday Catalog.   I used the Color Clear Embossing Technique with Versamark and Basic Gray ink.  After fussy cutting the word, it was popped up with Dimensionals as were the hearts.

For a clean look, I chose a Basic White card base to complete the card. This is a nice layout and would look equally as good with Stars. Hope you like it!

Cheers,  Jolanda!  Thanks for spending some of your day with me,
