Hi Everyone! It’s Tuesday and I am having fun with the Case-ing Tuesday #290 Challenge.
For my color choices, I selected the Just Add Ink – JAI540 Color Challenge.
This is what I created…

An easily overlooked stamp set, Suite Sampler is at the back of the Spring Mini Catalog – page 88. It can be yours if you host a qualifying party.
I love the images in this stamp set and I just needed to get it inked!
I stamped the Dragonfly in Misty Moonlight onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and colored the wings with Seaside Spray, Just Jade and Pink Pirouette (retired) Light Stampin’ Blends. I also added a generous amount of Wink of Stella to the Dragonfly before I fussy cut it.
Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Just Jade colors were applied directly to the Floral stamp using the Stampin’ Write Markers and then stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. The image was then die-cut using the Stitched Shapes Dies 2¾” Circle. The background color, Seaside Spray, was applied with a Blending Brush. I love how this gave the Flowers a nice soft back drop.
For the patterned paper element, I chose a piece of the Boho Indigo Product Medley Designer Series Paper in Misty Moonlight. I cut two Banners, Misty Moonlight embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and Blushing Bride embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
I decided to add my greeting/sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Four Season Florals stamp set to the bottom right corner of the Seaside Spray 5⅛” x 3⅞” panel instead of the Banner as I did not want to cover over the Floral Stems.
To mimic the cut-outs on the original sample, I cut out four Floral elements from the panel with the two smaller Flowers from the Many Layered Blossoms Die Set. I also cut four flowers out of a scrap of Blushing Bride so I could fit the Flowers into the openings.
Texture was added to the panel using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
Nest step assembly: The Seaside Spray panel was affixed to a Seaside Spray card base. The Blushing Bride Floral cut outs were fitted into the openings. The Boho Indigo patterned paper was affixed. The Banners were laid down. The circle stamped image was popped up and the Dragonfly was popped on.
I am very pleased with how this card came together. So pretty!
