Sunday Sketch – SS032
Never too late to get a project completed. The important thing is that I got it done and I am pretty happy with how it turned out!
Here is what I came up with…using a new stamp set: Enjoy the Moment that will be available in January. An organic nature set that is great for many genres.
Combining the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper with a little Brushed Metallic Copper card stock die-cut with the Loop Strip from the Painted Labels Dies and the Copper Metallic Ribbon (⅛”), the Poppy Pods take the stage.
I flipped the sketch so that the sentiment element would fall to the bottom and not overlap the Poppy Pods. The woodgrains in the patterned paper give the card an earthy grounded feeling.
I was thinking about one of my good friends as I made this card and a little bling via the Champagne Rhinestones give it just a bit of a feminine touch.
