Sunday Sketch – SS029 – November 22nd, 2020
Butterfly Shimmer, Glimmer and Sparkle!
A six/seven element layout. Card Base, Mat, Two Panels, Circle and Strip/Ribbon with an optional 3D addition.
For today’s sketch, I also incorporated my Keep Stamping Color Challenge from yesterday: Magenta Madness, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue, Silver and Whisper White.
This is what I came up with…let me know what you think…
- The card base is Balmy Blue (8½” x 5½”, scored at 4¼”)
- The mat is the Magenta Madness fade to Gorgeous Grape fade to Highland Heather fade to Balmy Blue sheet from the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper (DSP) (5¼” x 4”)
- The back panel is the Silver Dot pattern from the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP (3¼” x 4”)
- The Stitched Shapes Die circle, cut in half is from the Magenta Madness area of the Rainbow Gimmer Paper (2½”)
- The top panel is Whisper White and embossed with the Painted Textures 3D embossing folder that has been highlighted with Silver Shimmer ink using a Blending Brush (4½” x 1⅝”) Note: Painted Textures 3D EF and Blending Brushes will be available in January 2021 in the new Catalog.
- The Strip is Balmy Blue and the sentiment from See The Good has been stamped across it in Gorgeous Grape (⅝” x 4”)
- The optional 3D elements, the Butterflies, are die-cut from the Blue and Purple areas of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper with the Butterfly Beauty Dies.
The butterflies are so pretty! A shimmery, glittery thank you card just perfect when you need to let that certain someone know your appreciation.
