Butterfly Thanks

October 26, 2020

I have created this card for the Global Design Project #GDP264 challenge this week:  Casing the Designer who happens to be Steffi Helmschrott.

My color choice was influenced by this week’s Colour INKspiration #88 Challenge.  The colors are: (Crushed Curry, Pretty Peacock, Just Jade and Crumb Cake)

This is the result…

BUTTERFLY THANKS

Today’s card features the Drybrush background stamp and the Butterfly Beauty Dies. The principle elements of the card I am casing include three images and three colors.

I used Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry and Just Jade ink on Whisper White using the Drybrush background stamp.  I trimmed the background with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die and framed it with Basic Black and mounted it on a Crumb Cake card base.  The Basic Black butterflies were fussy cut from the Butterfly Beauty Die cut.  The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and comes from the Here’s A Card stamp set.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me.

Cheers, Jolanda
