Sunday Sketch – SS026

 October 25th, 2020

Such a simple sketch, but how to make it interesting?

Enjoy…

I went with a simple Black and White motif.  No Seasonal Fall or Hallowe’en colors…

…and this is the result.

Starting with one of the pretty floral border cut outs from the Ornate Borders Dies, I chose to make this White so it could pop on the Black.  I wanted to use a black and white patterned paper.  I routed around in my stash and found the Merry Music Specialty Paper.  The white swirls on black was such a great match.  I chose the sentiment from Home to Roost because nothing can be simpler than black and white.  For a little shine, I embossed the sentiment in black and cut the edges with the eyelet border cut out.

A sweet, pretty and very simple card.

Cheers!
