September 8th – Tuesday Case-ing #268
Participating in the Case-ing Tuesday challenge. The premise is to choose a card sample from the Catalog and Case it. This week the card choice was on page 8 of the AUGUST – DECEMBER MINI CATALOG.
This card features the “Boho Indigo” Product Medley.
The original sample in the catalog was a smaller note card measuring 2½” x 4½”. I wanted to retain the flag element but turned it into a banner. Both the banner and the cross strip showcase two of the beautiful patterns from the designer series paper selection in the product medley. This card has been scaled up to fit the traditional A2 size of 4¼” x 5½” based on the sketch.
I decided to compliment the patterned paper with a Misty Moonlight card base and an embossed Whisper White panel. The embossing folder I chose was Tasteful Textiles. A sure favorite!
I really like the freshness of the blues against the white in this card. How about you?
