Floral Birthday Wishes

Double Challenge – Colour Inkspiration #84 and Case-ing Tuesday #267. I like completing challenges because it makes me think and use the products I have on hand. This card is the result.

With this card, I was able to complete two challenges. It matched the lush ornate feel of the photograph and the sketch layout.

And the Sketch for Case-ing Tuesday #267 came from the AUGUST – DECEMBER 2020 MINI CATALOG.

Starting with the “Ornate Garden” Specialty Designer Series Paper and some Stampin’ Blends in the relevant challenge colors, Rococo Rose, Magenta Madness, Rich Razzleberry, Just Jade and Shaded Spruce (standing in for Garden Green), I colored the the open gold floral patterned page. I also fussy cut the complex daisy (Mum) flower piece from another of the open gold pattern pages.

Bling is added with the Golden Twine from the “Forever Greenery” Combo Trim Pack and the use of “Gold Foil” as accent panels behind the floral panel and the Just Jade card stock embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. The sentiment from “Butterfly Wishes” is clear color (Rich Razzleberry) embossed on to a golden cut oval. All elements are put together and added to a Rococo Rose card base to match the sketch challenge.

I have the perfect person in mind for this card. A good friend has her birthday this month.
