True North

Case-ing Tuesday #266

TRUE NORTH

Choose a card sample from the Catalog and Case!

This card features the “Sailing Home” stamp set and the Watercolor Block stamping technique that I featured in an earlier post. (Saturday, August 22nd, 2020)

I chose to use the colors Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight and three different size “B” blocks.  It is always so amazing to me how different the results are when ink, water and paper are combined.  You will never get the same result twice!

Combining Night of Navy with the “Old World Paper 3D” embossing folder, Seaside Spray with the “Wrapped in Texture” embossing folder and Whisper White with the “Subtle 3D” embossing folder, I created a lot of texture yet stayed true to the original sketch.

My variation to the sketch is using the Misty Moonlight In-Color ribbon behind the three block images instead of a sentiment strip in front.  I did not want to hide any of the stamped images.  Therefore, I oriented the images a little higher and placed the sentiment center bottom on the Whisper White panel.

Who is your “True North”?
