We Make a Great Team

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday.  The clocks changed today.  Are you behind the eight ball or reveling in the extra hour?

Today I created a clean and simple card for a variety of challenges:  Double D (#261021) is featuring Wings and As You See It (#384) is featuring Feathers…Birds have both.

I opted to create a Stencil for Little Red Wagon (#882) and chose the Palette from Creative Colours (#264) to complete my design.

Here is the result:

NOTES OF COLLAGE – DD261021 – AYSI384 – LRW882 – CCC264

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Secret Sea cardstock.
  • Card Front: (5¼” x 4’) Basic White cardstock.
    • Stencil: (8½” x 5½”) Copy Paper die-cut with the Bird die from Kokoarosa Studios, a gift I received.
      • With the Stencil in place, Gorgeous Grape ink was added to the top half of the Birds with a Blending Brush.  Using another Blending Brush, Misty Moonlight ink was added to the bottom half of the Birds.
      • Once the Stencil was removed, Eyes were added with the Light Secret Sea Stampin’ Blends Marker.
    • The sentiment, We make a great team, from the Notes of Collage stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Secret Sea ink.

Add card front to card base and we are done.

A delightful little card…
