Life is Beautiful – Thinking of You

Welcome back! Welcome back!  Happy Friday…How is already the end of October?

Playing with Retro Rubber (#283) for the colors and Sunday Stamps (#397) for the sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Tree Trunk image from the retired Life is Beautiful stamp set (circa 2020) was stamped with with Pecan Pie ink.
  • Using the Splatter Dot image from the same stamp set, the “Leaves” were randomly stamped with Lemon-Lime Twist, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger and Cajun Craze inks.
  • The Ground image, again from the same stamp set, was stamped with 2^nd Generation (stamped off once) Cajun Craze ink.
• Oval Frame: (2½” x 3½”) Pecan Pie cardstock die-cut with the (2⅜” x 3¼”) and (1⅞” x 2¾”) Oval dies from the retired Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies set.
• Frame Inset: (2½” x 3½”) Vellum Specialty Paper die-cut with the (2⅜” x 3¼”) Oval die.
  • The sentiment, Thinking of You, also from the same stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Copper Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A bit of retired Cinnamon Cider 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon was added and adorned with a retired Gold Toned Low Profile Dot.

The colors are changing and this is dreamy thinking of you card.
