Beautiful – Amazing Friend

Time again for the Hand Stamped Sentiments (#495) Design Team Challenge.  This round, we have an eclectic Mood Board with plenty of diverse options.  I went with the Floral image (top left).

Additional influences include: Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#215) for the palette and Just Add Ink (#792) for element options.

Bringing it all together, I selected the Sunday Stamps (#392) sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pool Party cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Night of Navy Dotted patterned piece of paper from the retired Regency Park Designer Series Paper pack.
• Cross Strip: (4” x 2”) Blueberry Bushel Gingham patterned piece of paper from the retired Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper pack.
• Center Block – Flowers: Large Floral patterned piece of paper from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.  Two Blooms were fussy-cut with Detail Scissors.
• Sentiment Banner: Off cut scrap from the Night of Navy Dotted paper.
  • The sentiment, You’re an amazing friend, from the Fern & Flora stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and trimmed to (2½” x ¾”) cut on the diagonal.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch with the top Flower and the Sentiment popped up with Dimensionals.  Gold Sequins, from my stash, were added for a bit of bling.

Imagining the fragrance released by these moonlight Blooms…
