Sunshine – That is the Word

Hi again!  A quick clean and simple card…chasing a deadline…

Addicted to CAS (#313) is featuring Trees and Shopping Our Stash (#579) is looking for a word.

I selected the CAS Colors & Sketches (#591) sketch to bring my ideas together and flipped it to portrait style.

And I am sharing with Time Out (#319) which has several elements that I used when creating this card. #1 – CAS; #2 – Monochromatic Color Scheme (Green); and #3 – Stitching.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (3½” x 4¾”) Peaceful Pine cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (3½” x 4¾”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (3¼” x 4½”) Stitched Rectangle die from the retired Stitched With Whimsy Dies set for a little interest.  The Panel was then trimmed slightly.
  • Focal Image – Tree:  The Tropical Palm Tree image from the retired Totally Trees stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine ink.
  • The Two-Step coordinating Infill Palm Fronds image was stamped with retired Mint Macaron ink.
  • The word – Sunshine, from the greeting, You are my sunshine, from the Begonia Belle stamp set, the Exclusive Product of the Month for July 2026, was selectively inked with Mint Macaron ink.

All layers were adhered to the card base, completing the card.

A fun just because card…perfect for summer!
