Love You Friend – Everlasting Thanks

Welcome back!  A brand-new week full of possibilities… 

A mash up of challenges today for a clean and simple card.

CAS Colours & Sketches (#590) for the palette; Facebook’s Global Design Project (#559) to introduce frames; and Moving Along with the Times (#192) for a feminine card.

Sharing with Ellibelle’s Garden Party (#17) for choosing flowers and Creative Crafters (#102) for anything goes.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Summer Floral Arrangement image from the new Everlasting Thanks stamp set, available in September, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light and Dark Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon.
  • The sentiment, from the same stamp set, Love You Friend, was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink.
• Frame: (3¾” x 2¼”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (3½” x 2⅛”) and (3⅛” x 1¾”) Stitched Ticket Corner dies from the retired Branching Out Dies set.

Keeping it simple, all elements were adhered to the card base.
