Washes of Pink Florals – Amazing Friend

Design Team Time for Facebook’s Case-ing Tuesday (#575), where we select cards from the Catalogs and remake them as we are inspired.  Today’s inspiration can be found on page 52 of the May – Aug 2026 Catalog.

My design choices were influenced by Festive Friday (#214) for National Friendship Day and the list of choices available. 

Sharing this card with TGIF (#587) for Tone on Tone and Time Out (#318) for Mother Nature.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Bubble Bath cardstock.
• Accent Mats: Flirty Flamingo cardstock.  Sizes: (2⅛” x 4⅜”); 2⅛” x 1⅝”); 2⅜” x 2⅜”); and (2⅝” x ¾”).
• Focal Panels: Pink Floral patterned Card Front from the Washes of Gratitude Card Kit cut.  Sizes: (2” x 4¼”); (2” x 1½”) and (2¼” x 2¼”).
• Sentiment Flag: (2½” x ⅝”) Bubble Bath cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You’re an amazing friend, from the Fern & Flora stamp set was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink.
  • The Double Flags were hand-notched with Detail Scissors.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals and a few Calypso Coral 2026-2028 In Color Dots were added to complete the card.

So soft and pretty…always love a monochromatic color treatment.
