Berry Botanical – Birthday

Welcome back!  Hoping your day is excellent…

Today I am playing with a word: Berry.  There are a few challenges that can be aligned with this word.

First up: Creative Colours (#244) with Berry Burst and Blueberry Bushel.

Then we have: Inspiration Station (#86) with a bucket of Berries and Four Seasons (#2606) with a summer Drink with Berries and lovely bright colors.

And finally: Seize The Birthday (#328) Twist: Use Vellum…with Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the January 2026 Exclusive Product of the Month, Fabulous Sayings, was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
• Polaroid Frame: (3” x 3½”) Berry Burst cardstock die cut with the (2⅜” x 2⅜”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Inset Underlay: (2½” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the same Square die.
  • Framed Image: (2¾” x 2¾”) Floral patterned piece of vellum from the Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Designers Series Paper, the May 2026 Exclusive Product of the Month.
    • Using the Take Your Pick Tool with the large Stylus Ball and the Stampin’ Pierce Mat, the Flowers were pressed from the underside to create a raised texture.  Looks and feels amazing but a little hard to see in the photo.
    • The embossed Floral Vellum was sandwiched between the Frame and the Underlay.

All elements were adhered to the card base, and a length of retired Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon was added for a bit of fun.

Summer Berries all round for a pretty birthday card.
