Textured Grunge – Delightful Day

Welcome back!  I have a fun card with lots of elements from a variety of stamp sets.

My mash up for today: Retro Rubber (#272) with a Sketch; Just Add ink (#786) looking for Polka Dots; Alphabet (Letter C) looking for Circles; Double D (#260520) looking for Splatter; and Little Red Wagon (#860) looking for a created Background.

Here is the result:

WORDS & WISHES – GEARS & TEXTURES – GORGEOUS GRUNGE – WATERCOLOR SHAPES – SWIRLED DESIGNS – RRCB272 – JAI786 – ACB Letter C – DD260520 – LRW860

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
  • Accent Mat: (3¾” x 5¼”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (3⅝” x 5⅛”) Smoky Slate Polka Dot patterned piece of paper from a retired Neutrals Collection 12” x 12” Stack I have had for a very long time.
    • (1) Using the smaller Circle image from the retired Watercolor Shapes stamp set (circa 2021) was randomly stamped with both Bubble Bath and Smoky Slate inks
    • (2) Using the larger Circle image from retired Swirled Designs stamp set (circa 2025), additional Circles were added, again with the same colors.
    • (3) The Splatter Circle image from the Gears & Textures stamp set was stamped over larger Circles with Lost Lagoon ink.
    • (4) The Ink Spot Splatter image from the retired Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (circa 2013) was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink into three of the larger Circles.
    • (5) The Ink Spot Splash image, also from the Gears & Textures stamp set, was also stamped into the remaining Circles with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Sentiment Flag: Bubble Bath cardstock scrap.
    • The greeting, I hope your day is delightful, from the Words & Wishes stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and trimmed to (4⅛”) and hand-notched with Detail Scissors.

All layers were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment Flag was popped up with Dimensionals and a few retired Classic Matte Dots, Basic Grey and Basic Black, were added to complete the card.

Thanks for popping by.  I hope you have a fantastic day! Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I would be happy to help you!!!

Cheers,  Jolanda!
