Nature’s Symphony – Smile

Welcome back!  Having fun with Embossing…

Design Team Time for Cardz 4 Guyz (#386) to use Embossing Folders and Facebook’s Case-ing Tuesday (#565), where we select cards from the Catalogs and remake them as we are inspired.  Today’s inspiration can be found on page 23 of the May – Aug 2026 Catalog.

I selected Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#209) Palette and am sharing with Can You Handle The Pressure (#260509) Anything Goes.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
• Under Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Top Strip: (3¾” x 2½”) Garden Green Splatter patterned piece of paper from the recently retired 2025/2026 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper pack adhered in place.
  • Bottom Strip: (3¾” x 1¾”) Gorgeous Grape Splatter patterned piece of paper from the same paper pack adhered in place.
    • The Panel was dry-embossed with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product, and then sanded with a Sanding Block to highlight the pattern.
  • Center Strip: (3¾” x 2”) Cloud Cover Splatter patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2027 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack, also an On-Line Exclusive product, hand torn to expose the white core.
    • The sentiment, You Make Me Smile, from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink and then the strip was adhered in place.
• Decoration – Fern & Fiddlehead: Garden Green and Cloud Cover cardstock die-cut with the Fern and Fiddlehead dies from the Fern & Flora Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Fiddlehead was popped up with a Dimensional.
