Northern Frost – A Merry Little Wish

Hi again!  Chasing a challenge deadline…

This afternoon I am playing with Jingle Belles (#2609) with a Snow theme and Krafty Chicks (#820) for their Christmas week.

Choosing the Color Dare (#702) Palette and the Freshly Made (#736) Sketch to bring my idea together.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cloud Cover cardstock.
  • The sentiment, A Merry Little Wish…, from the retired Festival of Trees stamp set was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
• Left and Right Accent Panels: (2” x 4¼”) Cloud Cover and (1¾” x 4¼”) Blackberry Bliss cardstocks dry-embossed with the retired Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
• Accent Strip: (⅛” x 5”) Silver Foil.
• Shapes – Snowflakes: Shimmery White cardstock scraps (retired but still in my stash bin) die-cut with the retired Northern Frost Decorative Strip Die.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, keeping the design clean and simple. 

It was fun to pull out the Snowflake die and play with these cool colors.
