Cutest Crew – Birthday Hello

Welcome back!  Catching up…

Design Team Time for Facebook’s Case-ing Tuesday (#564).  Where we select cards from the Catalogs and remake them as we are inspired.  Today’s inspiration can be found on page 62 of the May – Aug 2026 Catalog.

My design choices were influenced by: We Love Stamping (#2605) All Creatures Great and Small, Shopping Our Stash (#573) Man’s Best Friend and Seize The Birthday (#326) to feature an Animal.

Sharing with Just Add Ink (#785) asking for the use of Dies.

Here is the result:

CUTEST CREW – CT564 – WLS2605 – SOS573 – STB326 – JAI785

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Have The Best Day, from the Cutest Crew stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then dry-embossed with my favorite retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Diagonal Cut Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Daffodil Delight Floral / Balmy Blue Diamond Floral patterned piece of paper from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper pack, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
    • The Panel was trimmed on the diagonal at the (3⅞”) mark.
    • Using the (2⅛”), (1¾”) and 1¼”) Stitched Circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, the three Circles were die-cut.
    • The reverse-side Balmy Blue Circles were fitted back in.  The greeting, Just a little Hello, also from the Cutest Crew stamp set, was stamped onto the largest circle with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Focal image(s) – Dogs: Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The Dogs image, again from the Cutest Crew stamp set, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors Chosen: Dogs – Light and Dark Crumb Cake; Scarves & Tags – Light and Dark Balmy Blue; and Tongue – Light Bubble Bath.
    • The Dogs were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Dogs were popped up with Dimensionals

Each Pooch is excited that it is your birthday and wish you the very best!

I’m looking forward to seeing what you create based on the sketch.
