Artisan Garden – Special Moments

Time again for the Hand Stamped Sentiments (#488) Design Team Challenge.  This round, we have a great sketch for you.

My design was influenced by: Inkspirational (#367) and the Floral Palette in the Garden and Inspired By (#387) for the Colors and the Flowers.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Secret Sea cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Hydrangea Hue cardstock dry-embossed with my favorite retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a bit of texture.
• Side Panel: (1½” x 4”) Secret Sea Two-Tone cardstock dry-embossed with the Beautiful Pattern 3D Embossing Folder, still available but now on the Last Chance List.
  • Using a Sanding Block, the white core embossed pattern was highlighted adding interest.
• Square Panel: (3” x 3”) Bubble Bath Splatter patterned piece of paper from the now retired 2025/2026 Subtle Collection Designer Series Paper pack, which is also still available but on the Last Chance List.
• Decoration – Floral Spray: Clipped section of the Floral patterned piece of paper from the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The Floral image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light and Dark Bubble Bath, Hydrangea Hue and Mossy Meadow and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
• Sentiment Label: Secret Sea cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You make every moment special, from the Words & Wishes stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.  Finished Size: (1¾” x ½”).

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The ribbon/bow was omitted, and several Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for a bit of bling.  The Flowers and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.

A pretty card.
