Just a Little Hello – Notes of Spring

Welcome back!  A brand-new week just perfect for a clean and simple card…

Today’s line-up: Time Out (#312) with a Silhouette inspiration photo; CAS Colours & Sketches (#584) with a Color Palette and bringing my ideas together, the TGIF (#576) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Card Front Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Rectangular Block:
    • A Mask was created with a piece of Copy Paper (4” x 5¼”) die-cut with the (3½” x 2¼”) Rectangle die from the retired Deckled Rectangles Dies set.
    • The Mask was adhered over the Card Front with Low Tack Tape.
    • Using Blending Brushes, Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie and Flirty Flamingo inks were applied to suggest a sunrise/sunset effect.
    • The Mask was removed, and the Grass Silhouette image from the Notes of Spring stamp set, the Exclusive March 2026 Product of the Month, still available in the French version, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Tabs:
    • The sentiment, Just a little Hello, from the Cutest Crew stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was separated by inking only the phrase and then the word with the retired Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker before stamping.
  • Doodling:
    • Using the Journaling Pen, tiny “dots” were added to the Sentiment Tabs and the Grass Silhouette.

And then we are done…

A nice little Hello card.
