Hello Baby – Notes of Spring

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday…Happy Mother’s Day.  Taking a bit of Me Time on this day to create…

The challenges…Little Red Wagon (#857) looking for a Baby card and Heart’s Quest (#85) looking for Pink Hearts.

Choosing the colors Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop and Summer Splash for Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#208) as a farewell to the 2024/2026 In-Colors and the Freshly Made (#735) Sketch to bring my idea together.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 4¼ scored at 4¼”) Summer Splash cardstock for the Square Design.
• Background Panel: (4-3/16” x 4-3/16”) Basic White cardstock.
• Squares: Pretty in Pink, Summer Splash and Petunia Pop Striped patterned pieces of paper from the 2024/2026 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with the (1” x 1”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • The greeting, Hello, from the Fragrant Layers stamp set was stamped with Petunia Pop ink onto one of the Pretty in Pink Squares.
• The word, BABY, was die-cut from Petunia Pop cardstock scraps using the Mini Alphabet Dies set.
• Decoration – Bunny and Hearts: Basic White and Pretty in Pink cardstock scraps.
  • The Bunny Outline image from the Notes of Spring stamp set, the Exclusive March 2026 Product of the Month, still available in the French version, was stamped with Petunia Pop ink and the Fill-In Shading image was stamped with 2^nd Generation (stamped off once) Pretty in Pink ink and then the Bunny was fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
• Adding a little love, three Pretty in Pink Hearts were punched out with one of the retired Heart Punches.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Bunny was popped up with Dimensionals.  I sure am going to miss these colors…
