Welcome back! Wishing you a wonderful weekend and trusting that you will find some time to be creative…
Today, I am playing with Double Trouble (#215) 3-2-1 Recipe featuring 3 Layers, 2 Images and 1 Dry Embossing element with a Twist to add a Flower element and to partner with Try A Sketch On Tuesday (#694) and Beautiful Blossoms (#40).

I chose the Creative Colour (#239) palette of Real Red, Pretty Peacock and Early Espresso to complete my ideas and am sharing with Addicted to Stamps & More (#516) for Making My Mark with a coloring technique.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
- Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock. (Layer #1).
- The Panel was dry-embossed with the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder.
- Using Stampin’ Blends Markers, the debossed (or backside) side of the Panel was colored. The large Floral element (Image #1) was colored with Dark Real Red and the some of the Leaves with Dark Pretty Peacock.
- To highlight the Embossing, the Early Espresso Ink Pad was dragged across the Panel.
- Using the Hobby Knife Tip with the Take Your Pick Tool, the left top edge of the Flower was cut.
- Additional Flower: (3” x 2¾”) Basic White cardstock scrap. (Layer #2).
- The above process was repeated, and the Flower (Image #2) was then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- Sentiment Label: (2⅜” x ½”) Vellum Specialty Paper scrap (Layer #3).
- The sentiment, You Make Every Moment Special, from the Words & Wishes stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Fussy-Cut Flower was tucked behind the Cut Flower which was partially popped up with Dimensionals. The Sentiment Label was added with Mini-Glue Dots which were covered with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
A dramatic yet intriguing card using the Debossed Highlight Technique.

Jolanda, WOW! What a gorgeous card. Your dry embossing and then cutting are so beautiful with all that special coloring. I wish there was a side view so I could see the effect of cutting around the top left corner of that central flower to get a better feel for what you actually did to create so much dimension. Thank you ever so much for sharing your card and wonderful creativity with us at both Double Trouble and TSOT!!! -Donna
