Holiday Delight – Joyful Tidings

Welcome back!  Almost mid-month and the Holiday Blog Challenges continue, getting you ready for the 2026 Christmas season.

So, today, I am playing with: Jingle Belles (#2601) to reuse or repurpose Gift Wrapping for creating a card and Krafty Chicks (#802) for their Christmas theme.

I chose the colors suggested by Color Hues (#124) and the Sunday Stamps (#337) Sketch to complete my design.

Here is the result:

JOYFUL TIDINGS – JB2601 – KCC802 – TCH124 – SSC377

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Gray Granite cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 4”) Red Mulberry Paper cut from a Gift Bag.
  • All Other Paper: Coordinating Gift Wrap from my personal stash adhered to Copy Paper for more stability and cut as needed.
    • Bottom Strip: (4” x 1½”) Red / Gray Diagonal Stripe.
    • Side Circles and Sentiment Diamond: Light Gray Stone die-cut with the (1¼”) Stitched Circle die and the (1⅞” x 1⅞”) Stitched Square die both from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
      • The sentiment, May the wonder and magic of Christmas fill you with delight, from the Joyful Tidings stamp set, still available but on the Last Chance List, was stamped on to the Square diagonally with Real Red ink.
    • Center Circle: Leaping Reindeer die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A few Silver Metallic Adhesive Backed Gems were added for some bling.

Happy Holidays! Never too early to build your stash…
