Fun & Festive – Happy Christmas

Design Time: Cardz 4 Guyz (#381) Christmas Critter theme.

Additional challenges that informed my choices: Facebook’s SU! Colour (December) and Can You Handle The Pressure (#25DEC13) Twist of Holidays.

I am also sharing this card with Critter Crazy (#105).

Here is the result:

FUN & FESTIVE – WONDEROUS WREATH – C4G381 – SUCC Dec 2025 – CYHTP25DEC13 – 2CCCB105

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Early Espresso cardstock.
  • Background Panel (4” x 5¼”) Basic Beige cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Fun Patterns (Diamond) Embossing Folder.
  • Accent Mat: (2⅜” x 4⅝”) Early Espresso cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (2¼” x 4½”) Basic Beige cardstock.
    • The Holiday Giraffe image from the retired Fun & Festive stamp set was stamped with Early Espresso ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Giraffe – Light and Dark Calypso Coral and Pecan Pie; Tree – Light and Dark Old Olive and Pecan Pie; Ornaments – Dark Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral: Star and Pot Bow – Dark Daffodil Delight; Basket and Holly: Light and Dark Pecan Pie, Light Old Olive and Dark Sweet Sorbet (R); Santa Hat – Dark Sweet Sorbet.
    • The Pompom and Ruff of the Santa Hat were colored with a retired Chalk MarkerWink of Stella Glitter was added to the entire image to add a little sparkle (but it is hard to see in the photo).
  • Sentiment: Early Espresso cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Happy Wonderful Christmas, from the retired Wonderous Wreath stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.
