Weekend Adventures – Hello

Welcome back!  Another clean and simple card…my favorite style…

Playing with: Little Red Wagon (#837) for the Letter J; Color Dare (#681) for the Palette; Inkspirational (#356) to use Stencils; and choosing Facebook’s Global Design Project (#526) Sketch to bring my ideas together.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Stencil One & Mask: (4” x 4”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (2⅛”) Circle die from the retired Deckled Circles Dies set.
    • Using a Blending Brush and both the Stencil and the Mask, the three Circle Shapes were added to the card front with Cloud Cover ink.
  • Stencil Two: Number 5 Mask from the retired Linked Together Decorative Masks set.
    • Using a Sponge Dauber and both the Stencil One and Mask, the Floral Star was added with Pretty Peacock ink to the top and bottom circles.
  • Decoration – Flowers
    • Using both Stencil One and Mask, the Floral image from the Weekend Adventures stamp set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and colored with both the Light Strawberry Slush and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • Another Stencil was created with the small Label die from the retired Mixed Labels Dies set.
    • Using another Sponge Dauber, Strawberry Slush ink was added to create the Label Space. 
    • The word, Hello, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.

A pretty little clean and simple Hello card.
