Welcome back! A brand-new week that has started off very dark and stormy with lots of rain…
A few challenges today for a simple stamping card: Alphabet (Letter N) for Night; using the Color Hues (#120) palette of Orange & Purple; and sharing with Make My Monday (#263) to use Halloween Colors.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
- Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Starting with a slightly larger piece of cardstock, Calypso Coral ink was added through the center with a Blending Brush. Subsequent ink colors, added top and bottom, were Timid Tiger, Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Blackberry Bliss. Basic Gray was also added to the corners and edges of the panel.
- The Tree Image from the retired Winter Woods stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink as was the little Grounding image.
- The greeting, Wishing you a day filled with many happy moments, from the Branching Out stamp set was stamped also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- The Panel was then trimmed to size.
And that is all folks!
Not necessarily spooky but a traipse through the woods late in the day can have an eerie effect.
