Autumn Hello

Design Time for The Card Concept (#219) and we have a Fall themed inspiration photo this month.  I opted for the colors this time around.

I chose a clean and layered styling for this card influenced by AAA Cards (#298) to Follow the Leader and CASE a card created by Ceal Pritchett. 

Here is my version:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4”x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with the Pattern of Friendship Die, still available but on the Last Chance List.
• Arch Shape: (2¼” x 3½”) Early Espresso cardstock die-cut with the (2” x 3¼”) Stitched Arch die from the Everyday Arches Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive Product.
• Decorative Shape(s) – Leaves: Cajun Craze, Garden Green and Timid Tiger cardstock scraps die-cut with the Leaf die from the Happy Hibisucus Dies set, also still available but on the Last Chance List.
• Sentiment: Crumb Cake cardstock scraps double die cut and stacked with the Hello word die from the Circle of Season Dies set, a Paper Pumpkin Add-On product, still available if you are Paper Pumpkin subscriber.

All elements were then adhered to the card base taking inspiration from Ceal’s card.  A Linen Thread Bow was tied and added to the card.

Adding a little texture but keeping the card essentially clean and simple with Fall colored accents.
