Welcome back! A busy day in the Studio…Wednesday Class and just now getting a bit of time to create for a few challenges.
Festive Friday (#189) selections from the list related to Friendship; Alphabet (Letter G) for Girlfriend; Retro Rubber (#259) Colors subbing Black for the Dark Blue; and Color Hues (#114) for the matching Palette.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (4⅝” x 3⅜”) Daffodil Delight
- Background Panel: (3¼” x 4½”) Black & White Dotted patterned piece of paper from the retired All Together Designer Series Paper pack.
- Various Dots were colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.
- Hands & Sentiment: (4” x 4”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
- Using a Blending Brush and Petal Pink ink, the paper was colored.
- The Heart Hands & Sentiment – You Matter dies from the retired Here For You Dies set, that coordinated with the retired Here Together stamp set (circa 2022) were die-cut. Note: I opted to not stamp the Hands as I thought they looked better just plain.
All elements were adhered to the card base. The Hand Heart was centered over a single White Dot and several retired Daffodil Delight Adhesive Backed Hearts were added to the Green Dots.
A fun retro-colored friendship card.
