Sending Good Vibes – Mediterranean Blooms

Welcome back!  Monday and a brand-new work week…with a fruity fresh card.

Today I have combined the Just Us Girls (#774) Fruit theme with the Color Hues (#109) Blue & Yellow palette including nature’s neutrals of brown and green.

Bringing it all together with the Atlantic Hearts (#629) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Night of Navy and White Mosaic patterned piece of paper from the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper pack, available as an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Hexagon Frame and Inset: (5½” x 4¼”) Lemon Lolly and Basic White cardstocks die-cut with the Hexagon die from the Wildflower Designs Dies set, still available but on the Last Chance List.
• Focal Point: Floral Lemon Branch fussy-cut with Paper Snips from another piece of patterned paper from the same paper pack.
• Sentiment Banner: (2¼” x ½”) Night of Navy cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Sending Good Vibes, from The Right Words stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then hand-flagged with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

Blue and Yellow always a fresh combination made even fresher with the zesty lemons.
