Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star…

Welcome back to a brand-new week!

A clean and simple card for Addicted To CAS (#281) with a theme featuring Stars along with the Color Hues (#108) Palette of Lilac & Aqua and sharing with Shopping Our Stash (#546) with an Out of this World theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Card Front: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Swirling Stars image from the retired Star of Light stamp set was stamped with Versamark and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • Using the (2½” x 3⅞”) Rectangle die from the retired Deckled Rectangles Dies set, a Mask / Stencil was created from a piece of Copy Paper as was a straight edge Mask.
  • With the large Mask in place and using the Edge Mask, color was added with Blending Brushes.  Top – Highland Heather; Top Middle – Fresh Freesia; Bottom Middle – Coastal Cabana; and Bottom – Pool Party.
  • The Mask was removed, and the White Embossing was buffed with a Paper Towel.
  • The sentiment, Twinkle, twinkle, little star…, from the retired Moon Baby stamp set was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink.
  • The Panel was then die-cut with the (3¾” x 5⅛”) Rectangle die, also from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set.

The card front was popped up with Dimensionals.

A galaxy far away with a plethora of Twinkling Stars to awaken the imagination of a little one…
