Welcome back! Again, it is Monday and the start of a new week. Rainy and cool here this morning…all the reason to play with the color green.
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and so many challenges are featuring things green including: Color Hues (#105); Color Dare (#642); Double D (#030525); and Paper Craft Crew (#611).

I chose the Atlantic Hearts (#620) sketch to showcase one of my most favorite colors and am sharing with Can You Handle The Pressure (#75) to add an embossed element.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shaded Spruce cardstock.
- Accent Mat (1): (4” x 5¼”) Granny Apple Green cardstock.
- Accent Mat (2): (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
- Background Panel: (3⅜” x 4⅝”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Spring Flowers Embossing Folder.
- Side Panel: (1½” x 4⅛”) Granny Apple Green Dash patterned piece of paper from the retired 2023/2024 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
- Circle Shape: (2¾” x 2¾”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock die-cut with the (2½”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- Focal Accents – Leafy Fronds: Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green cardstock scraps die-cut with the Leafy dies from the Textured Floral Dies set.
- Sentiment Flag: (2½” x ⅝”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, I’m lucky to have a friend like you, from the retired Special Reason stamp set was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and die-cut with the Banner die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Sentiment Flag was popped up with Dimensionals.
Just something so serene and soothing when you create with green.
